Orchard.

Had to go see my girlfriend sing at orchard.church in Denver on a Saturday who is preparing to welcome her first baby angel in APRIL 2020!!!

Just the day before I was speaking to a co-worker about the very message the sermon was about. I love when that happens. God is like oh you got a problem. Well here is your answer. I don’t know who needs to see this but below are just my notes on the sermon. In person is always best but hopefully you’ll get something out of it as well…

Matt5.9 God blesses those who work for peace

When we put ourselves first we put peace last

Rom 12:17-18
Never pay back evil with more evil. Do things in such a way that everyone can see you are honorable. Do all that you can to be at peace with everyone.

Be a peace maker not a peace taker

I love you, I’m sorry, I value our relationship, we want to work this out

We are not just a Christian home we are a Christ centered home

Peacemakers work through not around issues

Crucial conversations…

How to get more peace:

1) speak the truth in love
Eph. 4:15
Instead we will speak the truth in love growing in every way more like Christ
Only do it in non conflict times
Confront the issue
do not attack the person

When you don’t listen to me I don’t feel like I’m important to you

2)Apologize when you’re wrong
Js 5:16
Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other that you may be healed

Never follow up an apology with an excuse

I’m sorry I raised my voice and belittled you I won’t do that again

1)I am sorry 2)I was wrong 3) please forgive me

3) forgive and let go
On the authority of God’s word you can forgive and let go

Col 3:13
Make allowance for each other’s faults and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember the Lord forgave you so you must forgive others

As soon as we say yes to Jesus in faith the next step is to follow Jesus.
Baptism
Followed up w fellowship

GOD BLESS🤗💓IMG_20191117_091953_221
