Need a lift to another galaxy on a magical unicorn?  Gidge can take you there.

I had to dig in the snow a bit to find these guys from Umeå, Sweden.  Totally worth the dig though…

Using the piano Gidge grabs your attention with an ambient melody out the gate shooting you off to another world.   Their chill sounds numb your mind into a trance of soundscape.

They released their debut album September 23, 2014 – Autumn Bells

I like my music like my food – Organic

Organic is a lifestyle.  A choice.  A decision. You want the best of the best.  Quality.

I started eating healthy about 3 years ago and progressively became more serious about it in the past year.  I started eating cleaner with less chemicals, gmos, and preservatives.  I noticed a huge difference in my overall health, appearance, and liveliness.  This translates well in music too.

I love food that is served fresh from the garden. Fresh from underground, just like my music.  Untouched by chemicals/mainstream… fresh from underground/unsoiled/unspoiled… not marred by outward influences.

I love artists, musicians, and producers that are undiscovered like a diamond in the rough.  It’s beauty remains preserved.  Passionately pouring out their soul and emotion into melodies that will be infinite.

Music is a gift to the world and we must charish, protect, support, and love our musicians worldwide and preserve their gifts for the greater good.

Help support these organic artists that I present to you daily.  Show them love and support.

(Let’s not forget food – Support local farmers & fresh markets)

Let’s inspire the world through organic music.

Music that is thought provoking

Music that inspires

Music that is positive

Music that screams love

Music that will change the world

Featured Artist: Kygo

Kygo is making Tropical House a must on your playlist this year!

This 23-year-old Norwegian musician and producer is bringing the sunshine to your doorstep.  Who needs a vacation when you can just turn to Kygo, close your eyes, and awake in a warm paradise on an island of your choice?

The momentum of this guy is ridiculous. He has an obscene 14Million (+) hits on Soundcloud with this treasure:

Coldplay has joined the hype and having Kygo remix one of their songs, “Midnight“.  He also got to replace Avicci at Tomorrow World on main stage last week because of some health concerns.

Do I really need to say more?  Do yourself a favor and beg someone for a ticket to one of his shows because they are pretty much ALL sold out.

The Grass Is Not Greener But…

Always shooting to catch a bigger wave.

In retrospect there is no assurance that there will ever be a bigger wave so why not enjoy the ride on the one you caught?

Ever notice how people who have lived in the same place their whole life never see the beauty in their surroundings?

Everyone wants want they don’t have but the trick is to see the beauty in what is already yours.

The grass is not greener but sometimes it takes making the leap to another patch to realize what you had.  Sometimes it takes people more some less but eventually you realize that everything you will ever need lies within.

It’s all about perception, gratitude, attitude, and above all is LOVE.

Featured Artist: Hiatus

When I imagine angels speaking or jamming out this is what I imagine it to sound like… @HiatusMusic

It wasn’t easy to learn about this artist but after a little digging this is what I found.  A gem hidden in the burrows of south London. Another enlightened soul with much to share.

Cyrus Shahrad aka Hiatus is a talented individual with gifts that go further than just scratching the surface of his accomplishments.  The reason you hear so much emotion in his music is I imagine mainly due to his time working as a journalist in Iran: lead single Save Yourself was  followed by Insurrection a meditation on the 1981 Brixton riots featuring dub poet Linton Kwesi Johnson.

He has written extensively on Iran – having lived in Tehran and served both as a correspondent for the Sunday Times and home news editor of English-language daily Iran News – and was for many years an editor of Time Out guidebooks. His short fiction has been published in Ambit and Hotshoe, and his novel The White World won the Telegraph’s Novel In A Year competition in 2006.

I love him and what he represents.

“What’s popular is more important than what is right.” Prince Ea…. just one line that packs a powerful punch.

The most powerful message in his song – Why I Think This World Should End?

“The solution to problems in this world is LOVE.  It lies within us all. Don’t try to change others, change yourself and LOVE. The most powerful weapon on this earth is LOVE.”

“The path to a new beginning starts within YOU.”  – Prince Ea

Humility: Every Man’s Best Friend

Ego < Humility = Knowledge

A conversation today struck a nerve that sent this message flowing through my fingertips like a crack in the Hoover dam.

You are no better than anyone else.  Never forget that.

That person that just pulled out of rehab?  You know nothing about their journey or where they came from.

That homeless guy on the street?  What got him there you know nothing about.

The man that picks up your garbage?  Supporting 3 kids and his mom who is dying of cancer.  He’s doing the best he can.  Maybe these struggles that he experienced has made him a more caring individual. At least he is trying.

What about the guy that has it all together…

Financially secure

Has a really nice house

Corporate Sales Job

“Can take care of you” (No one can take better care of you than YOU by the way)

What’s really happening?

Personal life is crap.

Does lines off a strippers @$$ every weekend and laughs about it

Cheats on his wife because he’s not happy… he got the “one”  society liked… Mrs. Universe who is what every man dreams of.  Reality?  Emotionally unstable, rude, selfish, insecure, and a horrible mom to YOUR kid.

These people exist.

The point is not to judge them for their choices but learn from them.  What you want or think you want is not always what is best.

Society teaches us that money is priority over values.  I’d rather sit next to the bum on the side of the road who has a kind heart and who gave up everything to help others which is why he is where he is rather than beside the guy in the new Valentino “Newman” suit who pisses excellence at the office and has the heart of Lucifer himself.

You can be successful and humble at the same time but it’s a rarity indeed.

You are only as good as the company you keep.

I want the friends that are there for me when I have nothing so that when I have everything I know they’re still there for the right reasons.  Me and not what I have.  Looks included. It’s just my shell.  It’s not who I am.  I am my soul.  I am what choices I make.  I am who I surround myself with.  I am what I create myself to be.

My granny taught me to be nice to everyone.  Even the maid at the office that collects your trash.  She deserves your respect just as much as the owner of the building.  That is a strong simple lesson I will pass down to others happily.

NEVER think you are better than someone else because you aren’t.  We are all in this together.  Be kind.  Show humility.  Be humble.  LOVE EVERYONE THE WAY YOU WANT TO BE LOVED.
